iPhone, iPad & iPod touch

i was wondering if there are any alternatives other than winterboard?

i installed winterboard on my ipod touch 8GB but it requires restarting adn i cannot do that..
my ipod touch when restarted goes back to restore mode and then that would end me up jailbreaking again..
if i dont restart it winterboard do not load up the themes..

so is there another way around? or is there another app that can do this without resrating lols..

my lucky gues on solving this is:

1.) permanently jailbreaking my ipod touch so that when i install winterbaord and restart.. still jailbroken
2.) have to manually replaced files in my ipod..

I have never had an instance when you have to restart the device to apply any themes with winterboard. Winterboard automatically resprings your device. Which is not the same as restart. It sounds like you have a tethered jailbreak, even so winterboard works fine without restarting. If you must restart just make sure you are by your computer when you do so that you can run the software. (Blackra1n) or other.
