iPhone 3Gs and iPhone 3G owners can use facetime as well. All you need is to have your friends with iPhone 3Gs and iPhone 3G to install either Facenow app, Tango app & even the Fring app from the Appstore. Then they can buy the iSeeu gadget that clamps on their rear camera to convert it to a front facing camera by going to this site http://playmass.com/en/iseeutime.asp As far as WiFi is concerned, if you have a jailbroken iPhone then you can install 3G Unrestrictor from Cydia which tricks apps like Tango, Facenow, Fring and Facetime into thinking you are on WiFi even when you are really on a 3G or Edge network. However, you don't need a jailbroken iPhone to use Facetime feature with Fring or Tango because they work with 3G network as well. So as you can see, there are ways around the original intended way of using Facetime.

The tango app works pretty well guys, and I know the pup uses it for iPhone to Android calls over 3g so thats cool too.
