We all know about the release of the much anticipated and talked about greenpois0n jailbreak using the SHAtter exploit which is scheduled for release this Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 10:10:10AM GMT. However, did you know there is another HUGE jailbreak being released the following day? There were many discussions and videos made the early part of 2010 about a limera1n jailbreak supposedly created by hacker George Hotz also known as "Geohot", but it was never confirmed. Then out of nowhere, Geohot made his announcement about leaving the jailbreaking scene and he closed his iPhone blog and his Twitter account, which at the time only confirmed one thing, and that was the limera1n jailbreak discussions were only rumors.

However, I am happy to announce that our jailbreaking champion Rocky Balboa, aka "Hacker Geohot" is making a huge comeback to reclaim the title as Jailbreak Champion. He's returning from a 3 month retirement to release his latest limera1n jailbreak software on Monday, October 11, 2010. His limera1n jailbreak software has a completely new bootrom exploit and tool to pwn ALL current iOS devices on iOS 4.1 for life! Bottomline, the limera1n jailbreak will be able to jailbreak more idevices then the recently popular greenpois0n jailbreak. Definitely, in the next couple days all the previous rumors about the limera1n jailbreak from the beginning of the year, will finally be put to rest and will make history in the jailbreaking books. For those that don't know, That date will be the one year anniversary of his previous blackra1n jailbreak which he released to public for iOS 3.1.2. I don't know, but it seems like Geohot may have fooled us all with his previous retirement and have been planning this blackra1n anniversary moment all along. Well the important thing is that he did it and we all will really appreciate his efforts and hardwork when all our idevices are jailbroken.

This news has been confirmed by members of Chronic Dev Team on Twitter, to whom Geohot has confirmed about his return with a complete new tool dubbed as Limera1n. Chronic Dev Team of course isn’t too pleased with it, they want Geohot to save this new bootrom exploit for the future next-gen iPad 2 and iPhone 5 devices.
